Porter & Day Storm To Victory In Portimao
In our second weekend of the GT4 Winter Series, Mikey & Jamie secure a triple podium at Portimao, taking the lead in the drivers and teams championships.
Magic was very much in the air this weekend at the Circuit of the Algarve, as Porter & Day pulled of an incredible triple podium in sunny Portugal for the second instalment of the series, building on a successful debut in Estoril earlier this month.
The pair gave us plenty of racing action across the weekend - following a few days of wet testing, the sun finally came out (as did the crowds) for an action packed weekend of racing.
Coming into the weekend, spirits were high following a strong debut in Estoril earlier in the month, but we knew we had some hard work to do to fend off some strong competition from the chasing pack, but after some brilliant team work the chaps managed to come out on top and pick up three podium finishes across the weekend.
