Forsetti Announce 2 Car Entry for British GT With New Aston Martin GT4
Forsetti Motorsport, an Aston Martin partner team based at Snetterton Circuit in Norwich have officially announced their two-car entry for the British GT Championship in 2024, competing with the new Aston Martin GT4 platform.
Following the delivery of Aston Martin’s latest iteration of their successful GT4 model earlier this month, the team have already been putting it through its paces at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia as part of preparations for their inaugural British GT campaign.
Despite only launching in November of last year, they have wasted no time in quickly assembling a top team to help them realise their ambition of winning the GT4 PRO/AM and outright GT4 victory within their first season with the series, recruiting some of the brightest minds in the sport with CV’s that span across IMSA, WEC, ELMS and Formula 1 to name but a few, to help realise this lofty ambition.
Of the two cars entered in the series, one will compete for Silver / Silver honours, and the other in the PRO/AM category. The Silver / Silver class car will be piloted by Mikey Porter & Jamie Day, who together will make one of the youngest driver pairings in British GT history.
The duo are currently competing together in the GT4 Winter Series Championship and have showed impressive form, achieving a 100% podium rate, and a sizeable points lead in both the drivers and teams championships - showcasing their impressive talents ahead of what will no doubt be an action packed season.
