Forsetti Motorsport joins forces with Aston Martin Racing to form an official partner team, which is set to compete in multiple GT Championships across the UK & Europe.

Following the order of two new Aston Martin GT4 Cars, set to debut in a few weeks time, alongside the acquisition of a proven race winner which competed in the 2023 instalment of the British GT Championship, the all-new team are set to officially break cover at Snetterton circuit later this month.

The team, who will be headquartered in a brand new, state of the art premises just a stone’s throw away from the track, at Snetterton Business Park, are seeking to secure podiums and victories in their debut season(s) and have quickly set about constructing a team to achieve that target.

The team will be headed up by former Mclaren and Haas F1 Engineer Joe Holloway, who joins the team as Technical Director. He’ll be joined by a number of highly skilled technicians and mechanics that have experience working across paddocks such as Formula 1, WEC, GT World Challenge and IMSA to name but a few.

Joe Holloway, Technical Director said:

“Our team incorporates some of the brightest minds in the racing industry, who bring together their experience, expertise, and unwavering dedication to propel us to the forefront of the sport. The fusion of Aston Martin's renowned elegance and engineering capabilities, coupled with the team’s pursuit of excellence has set the stage for us to make a strong impact in the GT racing world.”

The coming months will bring a number of announcements from the Norfolk based outfit, including their much-anticipated driver line up for 2024.

Huw Tasker, Head of Partner Racing from Aston Martin Racing commented:

“It is great to see Forsetti Motorsport join the Aston Martin family and put their faith in the Aston Martin GT4. The team have fantastic ambition, and a focus on performance that we would expect to serve them well.

We look forward to working with them closely on their programmes and hope to be celebrating many successes together.”

There will be more news to follow from the team as they finalise preparations ahead of launching their winter testing programme, which will take them across the UK and Europe ahead of the first race of the year in Estoril, in January 2024.
